Welcome!

I’m Eryk, a data analyst based in Krakow, Poland, currently working at Verisk, aspiring to become an actuary in the future. I graduated this year with a degree in Economic Analytics from the Krakow University of Economics.

Outside of work, I go to the gym, take dance classes, and play table tennis. I also collect LEGO bricks and Funko POP! figures. I really enjoy reading fantasy, popular science, and biographies, and I’m interested in learning more about physical and mental health, investing, and business.

On my blog, I’m documenting my journey toward actuarial exams, both Polish and SOA/CAS. I plan to share tips and techniques that have helped me and still help me understand and retain concepts more effectively, along with simplified explanations of some actuarial topics.

I’ll also post some practical pieces of advice and techniques I use in my daily work as a data analyst, which may be helpful for those facing similar challenges in their studies or careers, or who are simply curious about the role of a data analyst.

From time to time, you may also find posts on books I’ve read or on LEGO bricks and Funko POP! figures.

If any of these topics interest you—or if you spot anything that could be improved—I’d love to connect and welcome your feedback!
